Itinerary
DAY 1
Upon arrival at Jorge Chávez International Airport, our representative will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in Miraflores. Depending on your arrival time, you might have the chance to explore Kennedy Park or enjoy the ocean views from the Malecón.
DAY 2
After breakfast, your guide will take you on a tour of Lima's historic center, visiting the grand Plaza Mayor, the Government Palace, and the Lima Cathedral. Later, you'll visit the Larco Museum, which hosts an impressive collection of pre-Columbian artifacts. Enjoy lunch at the museum café before returning to your hotel.
DAY 3
In the morning, you'll travel by private transport to Paracas, a wildlife sanctuary on the southern coast of Peru. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy a free afternoon to relax or explore the local beaches.
DAY 4
National Reserve Early in the morning, embark on a boat tour to the Ballestas Islands to see sea lions, seabirds, and occasionally penguins. In the afternoon, tour the Paracas National Reserve, admiring its desert landscape dramatically contrasting with the blue ocean.
DAY 5
After breakfast, head to Nazca. In the afternoon, visit the Antonini Museum to learn more about the mysterious Nazca culture.
DAY 6
Experience an exhilarating flight over the Nazca Lines, viewing these enigmatic figures from the air. In the afternoon, explore the Cantalloc aqueducts, an ancient engineering marvel.
DAY 7
Return to Lima by private transport. The afternoon is free to enjoy the capital, perhaps visiting the bohemian district of Barranco to enjoy its artsy vibe and street art.
DAY 8
Catch a morning flight to Cusco. The afternoon is free to acclimatize to the altitude of 3,400 meters above sea level. A gentle walk through the historic center to visit its markets and cafes is recommended.
DAY 9
Explore the main sites in Cusco, including the Temple of the Sun (Qorikancha), the main Cathedral, and the nearby ruins of Sacsayhuamán. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant followed by a free afternoon.
DAY 10
Visit the Sacred Valley with stops at the Pisac market and the impressive fortresses of Ollantaytambo. Lunch at a local hacienda, with time to explore more or relax.
DAY 11
Travel by train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes. Ascend to Machu Picchu for an afternoon guided tour. Overnight in Aguas Calientes, giving you the option of a second visit at sunrise.
DAY 12
Option to return to Machu Picchu at sunrise before taking the afternoon train back to Cusco. Overnight in Cusco.
DAY 13
