Itinerary
DAY 1
Upon your arrival at Jorge Chávez International Airport in Lima, you will be warmly welcomed by a representative from Luxe Andes Peru, who will assist you with the transfer to your luxury hotel in the Miraflores district. Use this day to acclimatize and enjoy the amenities of your hotel. If you arrive early, we recommend exploring Miraflores, visiting the Love Park, and enjoying a dinner at one of the city's top restaurants.
DAY 2
After breakfast, a private guide will take you on a tour of Lima, visiting the Main Square, Government Palace, and Lima Cathedral. You'll also explore the Larco Museum to delve into Peru's rich pre-Columbian history. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before returning to your hotel.
DAY 3
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Puerto Maldonado, the gateway to the Peruvian Amazon. Upon arrival, transfer to your jungle lodge via a boat ride on the Madre de Dios River. Participate in an afternoon jungle excursion, exploring trails and searching for native wildlife.
DAYS 4-5
Spend two full days engaged in various guided activities in the Amazon, including dawn jungle walks, canoe trips on rivers and oxbows to observe birds and wildlife, visits to macaw clay licks, and nocturnal wildlife walks. Meals will be served at the lodge, surrounded by the sounds of the jungle.
DAY 6
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Cusco. Spend the afternoon acclimatizing to the high altitude and exploring the ancient capital of the Inca Empire.
DAY 7
Enjoy a guided tour of Cusco after breakfast, visiting the Qorikancha (Temple of the Sun), Cusco Cathedral, and the local San Pedro market. Spend the afternoon exploring the city or relaxing at your hotel.
DAY 8
Visit the Sacred Valley, including the market and ruins at Pisac, followed by lunch at a local hacienda. In the afternoon, visit Ollantaytambo, a significant archaeological site, before overnighting in the valley.
DAY 9
Take the train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes, enjoying spectacular views. Explore Machu Picchu with an expert guide, learning about its history. Overnight in Aguas Calientes to maximize your time at the site.
DAY 10
Optionally revisit Machu Picchu at sunrise before returning by train to Ollantaytambo and transferring back to Cusco.
DAY 11

DAY 12
